The Babies & Boomers Activity Guide provides tips and ideas for encouraging speech-language development in young children. It also includes many colorful, photo-filled pages that help grandparents identify word-movement pairings that correspond with words in each of the songs included on the accompanying CD. These songs were chosen based on their capacity to facilitate interaction between grandparents and grandchildren and to encourage the development of speech and language skills.
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Dr. Polow noticed that fun, interactive programs designed specifically to help grandparents encourage communication skills in their grandchildren were absent from the vast market of educational products available today. Babies & Boomers was developed to fill this gap!
